Michael O’Shaughnessy – Owner/Broker has been surfing since 1971 and a Ponce Inlet local since 1990. A three time Guinness World Record holder in the sport of paddle boarding (English Channel, Cuba to US x 3, Irish Sea, and Loch Ness) he has taught well over 350 people to surf the waves in Ponce. Owner of Ho Daddy O's Surf Cream, Ho Daddy O's Surf & Fitness camps for kids and Ho Daddy O's Surf Club. A 27 year veteran in the real estate brokerage business, Michael was named one of the top realtors in Central Florida. Michael was named the “Alumnus of the Decade” at the University of Central Florida’s 40th anniversary in 2007-where he was a two sport athlete for the Knights (football and baseball) and inducted to UCF's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010. A member of Ponce Inlet's Parks and Rec. board, creator of the Olde Daytona Beach Ocean Festival, East Coast Paddleboard Championships. Credited with introducing the sport of unlimited paddle boarding to the East coast through the creation of the Key West Classic in 1997- Michael understands the importance of pristine beaches, beautiful waters and warmth of community and specializes in the needs of beach-style living. Michael is a Community Association Manager, father of two , Shane and Lucky and is married to Leslie.
